There is a rural bulky waste collection once a year, where larger items can be disposed of within the village. Times and dates are advertised on the website, in 'The Colmworth Chronicle' publication and on the community noticeboard. The nearest bottle banks for glass recycling are: • Top End Farm Lt Staughton • Clapham Road Sainsburys • Household Recycling Centre: Barkers Lane, Bedford, MK41 9SB.  •Household refuse is collected fortnightly in Colmworth on Mondays. In recent past, collections have been made on Bank Holidays, but please keep an eye on the local press. You should leave your Black wheelie-bin in a prominent position near to the roadside before 7am
